Prayer for inner strength and the transformation of fear

O Eternal Light,

You dwell in the deepest heart of my being.

To You I rise in silent devotion.

When the shadows of fear envelop my thoughts,

Ignite your flame within me,

which cannot erase darkness.

When my heart wavers,

Grant me your unmoving stillness.

When doubts knock on my door,

Open my inner eye to Your truth.

Let me recognize,

that no power is greater than your love,

No storm is stronger than your peace.

No shadow is deeper than your light.

Drive out everything,

what separates me from my true soul:

the fear, the confinement, the restlessness,

the mistrust and the despair.

Fill every cell of my body,

every thought of my mind,

every stirring of my heart

with your golden consciousness.

Don't let me act out of fear,

but out of trust.

Not out of restlessness,

but from your quiet strength.

May Your presence

like a bright sun rising within me,

until all the shadows have disappeared

and only peace remains.

I surrender my life to you,

My path, my future.

Work in me and through me.

May Thy will be done in me.

May Your truth illuminate my thinking.

May your love transform my heart
