Prayer inner strength

In the invisible space of my heart

A light is on,

that no doubt can erase.

When the world gets loud

and my thoughts circle like restless birds,

I remind myself of the silent power,

which is deeper than any fear.

Don't let me reach for security,

when life calls me into the unknown.

Let me learn,

to trust the invisible.

Give me the patience of the earth,

who wears it silently.

The clarity of the sky,

who holds onto nothing.

And the fire of the soul,

even in dark hours

does not expire.

May I not grow smaller

through pain

not tougher through disappointment

and not blind

through the unrest of the world.

Open the space within me,

in which silence can speak again.

Teach me

not to fear the unexpected,

but to meet him with an open heart.

Because maybe

is hiding right there

the door,

through which life begins anew.

And if I fall,

let me recognize,

that even when falling

Another heaven awaits.

So I will continue —

not without fear

but deeper than they are.

Unaware,

but trusting.

Not perfect,

but open.
