Von der Selbstbestimmtheit zur Übereinstimmung

*Eine poetische Betrachtung des Willens auf dem Lichtvollen Pfad*

Es gibt Themen,

die nicht am Rand unseres Weges liegen,

sondern in seinem innersten Zentrum.

Themen, die uns begegnen,

sobald wir nicht mehr nur suchen,

sondern beginnen zu gehen.

Eines dieser Themen ist die Selbstbestimmtheit.

Nicht nur die,

die wir gewohnt sind zu leben,

sondern auch jene tiefere Selbstbestimmtheit,

die in Übereinstimmung ist

mit dem Wahren.

Zwei Qualitäten desselben Wortes

Beide heißen Selbstbestimmtheit.

Und doch stammen sie aus verschiedenen Räumen.

Die eine ist die gewöhnliche Selbstbestimmtheit,

geboren aus dem Ich,

getragen vom Geist,

geprägt von Angst, Kontrolle und Abwehr.

Die andere ist eine Selbstbestimmtheit,

die nicht gegen das Wahre steht,

sondern mit ihm geht,

in ihm ruht,

aus ihm handelt.

Und beide sind Willen.

Doch nicht derselbe.

Die gewöhnliche Selbstbestimmtheit

Die gewöhnliche Selbstbestimmtheit

lebt im Bereich des mentalen und vitalen Daseins.

Dort herrscht das Ich,

das sich selbst als Zentrum erlebt.

Es bestimmt,

weil es fürchtet.

Es kontrolliert,

weil es glaubt,

sich sonst zu verlieren.

Diese Selbstbestimmtheit erscheint frei.

Sie fühlt sich autonom an.

Doch sie ist gebunden –

an Gewohnheiten,

an Reaktionen,

an vertraute innere Landschaften.

Der Mensch verteidigt darin seine Freiheit.

Doch in Wahrheit verteidigt er seine Gewohnheit.

So entsteht Angst vor Hingabe.

Denn Hingabe wird verwechselt

mit Unterwerfung,

mit Auflösung,

mit dem Ende der eigenen Welt.

Das Ego kennt keine andere Selbstbestimmtheit

als die seine.

Es weiß nichts von einer Freiheit,

die nicht isoliert ist.

So wird Hingabe zur Bedrohung.

Nicht weil sie es ist,

sondern weil sie so gesehen wird.

Keine Kritik – sondern Wandlung

Doch hier geht es nicht um Kritik.

Nicht um Verurteilung.

Nicht um Ablehnung der gewöhnlichen Selbstbestimmtheit.

Es geht um Wandlung.

Um eine Bewegung

von einer Ebene zur anderen.

Die Frage lautet nicht:

*Soll ich selbstbestimmt sein oder nicht?*

Die Frage lautet:

Wer bestimmt in mir?

Und aus welchem Raum?

Die Verwandlung des Willens

Auf dem Lichtvollen Pfad

wird die Selbstbestimmtheit nicht zerstört.

Nicht unterdrückt.

Nicht ausgeschaltet.

Der menschliche Wille wird

geklärt,

vertieft,

geweiht.

Er wird nicht gebrochen.

Er wird durchlichtet.

Die gewöhnliche Selbstbestimmtheit

wandelt sich

zu einer Selbstbestimmtheit

in Übereinstimmung mit dem Wahren.

Der Wille bleibt –

doch er ist nicht mehr isoliert.

Er steht nicht mehr allein

gegen das Leben,

gegen das Ewige,

gegen das Ganze.

Wahre Selbstbestimmtheit

Wahre Selbstbestimmtheit

ist Einklang.

Einklang zwischen dem Ewigen

und der Form dieser Welt.

Sie ist Einssein

mit der höchsten eigenen Wahrheit.

Manchmal wirkt sie

durch das seelische Wesen,

durch jene Tiefe,

die nicht aus Angst handelt,

sondern aus Wahrheit.

Dort heißt es nicht:

*Ich darf nicht wollen.*

Dort heißt es:

**Ich will die Wahrheit.**

Hingabe ohne Verlust

Wenn wir glauben,

Hingabe bedeute,

uns selbst zu verlieren,

dann kennen wir diese Wandlung noch nicht.

Denn in der wahren Selbstbestimmtheit

geht nichts verloren.

Es bleibt Würde.

Es bleibt Freiheit.

Es bleibt Wille –

aber ein Wille ohne Angst.

So wirkt der göttliche Wille

nicht gegen den Menschen,

sondern durch ihn.

Nicht um den Willen zu brechen geht es,

sondern ihn zu weiten.

Nicht ihn zu vernichten,

sondern ihn

vom höchsten Licht

durchscheinen zu lassen.

Der große Kreis

So spannt sich der große Kreis der Wandlung:

Von einer scheinbaren Freiheit,

die isoliert ist,

hin zu einer Selbstbestimmtheit

ohne Grenzen.

Von einer Selbstbestimmtheit aus Gewohnheit

zu einer Selbstbestimmtheit

in Übereinstimmung.

Und in diesem Licht

lüftet sich ein kleines Geheimnis:

Die Selbstbestimmtheit

war nie das Hindernis.

Nur die Ebene,

aus der sie gelebt wurde.

There are themes

that do not lie at the edge of our path,

but at its innermost center.

Themes that meet us

the moment we stop merely searching

and begin to walk.

One of these themes

is self-determination.

Not only the form of it

we are accustomed to living,

but also that deeper self-determination

that lives in alignment

with the True.

Two Qualities of the Same Word

Both are called self-determination.

And yet they arise from different realms.

One is ordinary self-determination,

born of the “I,”

carried by the mind,

shaped by fear, control, and defense.

The other is a self-determination

that does not stand against the True,

but walks with it,

rests within it,

acts from it.

Both are will.

But not the same will.

Ordinary Self-Determination

Ordinary self-determination

lives in the realm

of mental and vital existence.

There the “I” rules,

experiencing itself as the center.

It determines

because it fears.

It controls

because it believes

it would otherwise be lost.

This self-determination appears free.

It feels autonomous.

Yet it is bound—

bound to habits,

to reactions,

to familiar inner landscapes.

Here, the human being

defends their freedom.

But in truth,

they defend their habit.

And so fear of surrender arises.

For surrender is confused

with submission,

with dissolution,

with the end of one’s own world.

The ego knows no self-determination

other than its own.

It knows nothing

of a freedom

that is not isolated.

Thus surrender becomes a threat—

not because it is one,

but because it is seen that way.

Not Criticism — but Transformation

Yet this is not about criticism.

Not about judgment.

Not about rejecting ordinary self-determination.

It is about transformation.

About a movement

from one level

to another.

The question is not:

*Should I be self-determined or not?*

The question is:

**Who determines within me?**

And from which realm?

The Transformation of the Will

On the spiritual path,

self-determination is not destroyed.

Not suppressed.

Not eliminated.

The human will is

clarified,

deepened,

consecrated.

It is not broken.

It is illumined.

Ordinary self-determination

transforms

into a self-determination

in alignment with the True.

The will remains—

but it is no longer isolated.

It no longer stands alone

against life,

against the Eternal,

against the Whole.

True Self-Determination

True self-determination

is harmony.

Harmony between the Eternal

and form in this world.

It is oneness

with one’s highest inner truth.

At times it moves

through the soul-being,

through that depth

which does not act from fear,

but from truth.

There it is not said:

*I must not will.*

There it is said:

**I will the truth.**

Surrender Without Loss

If we believe

that surrender means

losing ourselves,

then we have not yet known

this transformation.

For in true self-determination

nothing is lost.

Dignity remains.

Freedom remains.

Will remains—

but a will without fear.

Thus the divine will

does not act against the human being,

but through them.

It is not about breaking the will,

but about widening it.

Not about annihilating it,

but about letting it

be permeated

by the highest light.

The Great Circle

Thus the great circle of transformation unfolds:

From an apparent freedom

that is isolated,

toward a self-determination

without boundaries.

From a self-determination of habit

to a self-determination

in alignment.

And in this light

a small secret is revealed:

Self-determination

was never the obstacle.

Only the level

from which it was lived.
